Softcorp NO SPAM Policy

Softcorp has a zero tolerance spam policy. Softcorp Marketa™ is a strictly permission e-mail marketing system and spam is not permitted anywhere in the system. All Marketa™ clients agree to never send spam with Marketa™ eMarketing system. Sending spam is serious a violation of the Softcorp Marketa™ Terms of Use and can result in account restriction or termination.

If you believe you have received spam from a Marketa™ client, please report it to us. Click on the "Remove" link in the e-mail you received. Then, in the Navigation Bar at the top of the web page that appears, click the "Spam Report" link and make your report. Our Spam Compliance Officer (SCO) will investigate your case.

Softcorp Anti-Spam Policies, Practices, and Methods

Softcorp Marketa™ protects clients from sending spam and ensures they are in compliance with the Federal CAN-SPAM law through the following policies, practices, and methods:

  • Confirmed Opt-In -- All audience members in the Marketa™ system are "confirmed opt-in". This means they requested to be added to the Marketa™ client's mailing list and then explicitly confirmed that requrest by e-mail.
  • No list buying/selling/renting/sharing -- The Softcorp Marketa™ Terms of Service do not permit the buying, selling, renting, or sharing of e-mail lists. Purchased, rented, or shared e-mail lists cannot be used with Marketa™. Marketa™ clients agree to never sell, rent, or share their Marketa™ e-mail lists.
  • Un-subscribe Link -- The Softcorp Marketa™ system automatically ensures that every e-mail includes an un-subscribe link that is in compliance with the Federal CAN-SPAM law.
  • Permanent Un-subscribe -- The Softcorp Marketa™ system keeps track of un-subscribes permanently. The sytem automatically blocks e-mail from being sent by that Marketa™ client to that former subscriber unless the subscriber later chooses to re-subscribe (through "confirmed opt-in" of course).
  • E-mail headers -- The Softcorp Marketa™ system automatically generates the correct e-mail headers, one of the requirements of the Federal CAN-SPAM law.
  • E-mail return address -- The Softcorp Marketa™ system automatically confirms the return address in every e-mail is working and belongs to the Marketa™ client who sent it, one of the requirements of the Federal CAN-SPAM law.
